Sarah serves as Director, Consultant, and the head of Monologue Selection for My College Audition.

“My primary goal is to get your material audition-ready and to have you feeling excited and passionate about sharing your work! I believe two of the most important factors in any great performance are 1) Specificity of Storytelling and 2) A Strong Point of View. We will explore your material through vocal and physical exercises, as well as written work and text-based analysis. These tools will allow us to raise the dramatic stakes of your piece, clarify the storytelling, and build the strongest possible connection between you and your material. We will also spend time honing general audition skills and etiquette, such as how to conquer nerves, how to introduce yourself and your material, and how to creatively and successfully take adjustments in the audition room. Finally, we will personalize your audition routine through various tips and tricks that I like to call “Stacking Your Deck.” The audition process can be a crazy and demanding experience, but it is also a wonderful opportunity to explore and strengthen your passion and to grow as both a person and an artist. My College Audition (MCA) provides one on one coaching, training & mentoring for the competitive college audition process for undergraduate BFA/BA Musical Theatre & Acting programs. Founded in 2008, we have helped hundreds of students discover, prepare for & be accepted to their dream performing arts schools.
